• Lighting positions - in the same way you'll design a to scale floor plan, you'll need to design a to scale lighting plan. 
Setting up the studio 
• The crew  rig up the lights in the correct position following the lighting plan.  
• Getting the set in and in place properly. 
• Point the lights in the correct positions, finding out the needed levels and placement.
• Technical checks, making sure mics are working properly, all the lights are working, all the cams are working.
Preparation
• Get the talent in and sat down 
• Mic up the talent 
• Do mic and sound checks on each individual person 
• Director checks all the shots for the cameras, F.M makes any changes on studio floor 
• Rehearse opening
• Stop - Start rehearsal
• Rehearse closing
Recording 
• RECORD
• CUT
• check replay
• Strike & De-Rig
